District Rate Information
The Evergreen area has 3 districts that provide water and/or wastewater services to customers within district boundaries.
Rates are set each year by the boards during the Rate Hearings for the year. Usually, next year’s rates are set at the end of the year, with Rate Hearing Notices posted 30 days prior to the meeting. (See District Notices)
Customers are more than welcome to attend board meetings and hearings. Email recept@evergeenmetro.org if you would like to attend. If you would like to speak during the meeting, please provide at least one week’s notice and what you would like to present about.
Who Sets the Rates
- Water usage rates are set by the EMD Board of Directors.
Sewer base rates are set by the board of directors in each separate district.
- Any additional charges are set by each district separately.

Drought Rates
