Evergreen Metro District consists of 5 different departments that specialize in each area the department oversees.  The 4 departments that maintain our water and wastewater systems are on call 24/7 to deal with any issues or emergencies that arise.

  • The Water Department consists of 6 members who ensure the water we deliver to residents meets state and federal standards.  They also ensure that the meters that read how much water a customer uses are in working order and replace as necessary.

  • The Wastewater Department has 6 members as well.  They oversee all wastewater lift stations, the 3 wastewater plants and make sure that the water that is discharged into Bear Creek meets all state and federal guidelines.

  • Collections and Distribution is a 7-person team who make sure that our distribution systems stay up and running.  They deal with main breaks, water and wastewater line maintenance and other miscellaneous issues that arise with the distribution system.

  • The Water Resources Department is a 2-person department.  They are responsible for water monitoring our water shed, recording of water rights, and new construction.

  • The Administration Department consists of 6 members.  They are responsible for billing customers, receiving payments, customer service, and coordinating the monthly board meetings for West Jeff and EMD.

  • The General Manager, Jason Stawski, oversees the 3 districts and all departments.

  • The Board of Directors has 5 members of the community that decide on rates and fees, the yearly budget for each district, and legal matters and to ensure that EMD is continuously doing what is in the best interest of the community so that our water and wastewater system continue to deliver quality water to our customers now and into the future.  The boards are elected by the community and serve two to four year terms.
