Notifications from the District

From time-to-time Evergreen Metropolitan District sends out notifications to customers. They can come in the form of a letter, message on your statement, phone call, text message, email or door knocker.  The messages will always have our office number 303.674.4112 and/or email/website (recept@evergreenmetro.org, www.evergreenmetro.org)to contact for questions. 

The District will only send notifications if it is something that may impact the customer. From time to time, we get information from customers about notifications they have received that do not come from Evergreen Metropolitan District. 

District staff will only contact you for notice of: Late Payment, Disconnection Notices, meter replacements/issues, planned work in the area, planned water shut-offs, emergency work on water mains, or billing changes. 

We do not: sell products (especially water softeners- Evergreen water is not hard) or recommend insurance coverages. 

Note that if you receive a call that does not state that it is from Evergreen Metropolitan District and does not direct you to either our website or to call our office number 303.674.4112 it is not Evergreen Metropolitan District reaching out. 

Bill Notification Change 

Recently we have undergone an update with our billing system. By doing this we can now send out new notifications about your bill. This notification will be sent as an email, text message, and phone call from our automated system. 

These notifications are being sent out due to a past due balance on your account. We will be sending this as a friendly reminder if your payment is late for the month. The message will say, 

“Evergreen Metropolitan District Payment Reminder:

Welcome to our new automated text/and or email service! This is a friendly reminder that your water/wastewater account balance is past due. To avoid additional late fees, please pay by the due date of 9/8/2025.
