Upcoming Water Main Repair at Bear Creek – Important Notice for Residents

Dear Evergreen Community Member,

We want to inform you that the Evergreen Metropolitan District has contracted C&L Water Solutions to repair a broken water main located beneath Bear Creek at 27790 State Hwy 74. This essential infrastructure serves the neighborhoods of Forest Hill, Mountain Park, Camel Heights, and Bell Park.

Important Update:

August 19, 2025 - 

C&L Water Solutions will be replacing the valve in the former Cozy Cleaner's parking lot. 

This work will begin on Wednesday, August 20th at 7:00am and go until Thursday, August 21st at 12:00pm. 

To complete this work a section of the water main that supplies nearby pump stations and storage tanks will be taken offline. This will temporarily affect the normal supply to approximately 350 homes in the area. Water services will remain available for all of these residents but, they will be relying on stored water reserves. In this time we kindly ask all customers to conserve their water and limit the use to essential needs only (please do not irrigate or wash your car during this time). 

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to improve and strengthen our community's water infrastructure. 

Project Details:

- Start Date: Week of August 4, 2025

- Estimated Duration: 3 to 4 weeks

- Contractor: C&L Water Solutions

What to Expect:

- Construction of a diversion dam upstream of the work site

- Use of four 8” pumps to reroute creek water around the work zone

- Excavation and removal of the damaged pipe

- Installation of a new 12” water main encased within a 24” casing pipe

You may notice increased activity and equipment in the area during this time. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore and improve our water infrastructure.
